How do I enable error logging ?

If ERP-Scale is not functioning correctly, you can enable logging. You can either log to the windows event log, or to a log file. We advise the latter as it is easier to send us a copy of the file.

Start the ERP-Scale configuration utility and connect to your server.

On the event logging tab, select the messages you want to log:

On the log file tab, activate logging and enter a directory:

Click “Update” to save your settings and “Restart” the server.

After the server has been running for about 5 minutes, a log file should be created in the directory specified.

Providing a logfile and configuration files from ERP-Scale can help us to resolve the issue quickly.
Logfiles can get very large very quickly. Monitor disk usage and purge old logfiles.
