Please note that without purchasing and entering a licence number, ERP-Scale operates in test mode. In this mode, any output to SAP will have the digits scrambled.
To unlock the full functionality of ERP-Scale you will need to activate it by purchasing and entering a licence number. Information regarding licences for ERP-Scale PQS is available here.
For testing purposes, trial licences are available. These trial licences unlock the full functionality of ERP-Scale for a period of three months and are available free of charge. Trial licences are available from FastSpring.
The ERP-Scale extensions Target Weigher & Scale Selector are not compatible with ERP-Scale V4.0.1.
ERP-Scale V4.0.1 includes a utility to upgrade settings from ERP-Scale V3.x to ERP-Scale V4.0.1. It can also be used to convert settings between ERP-Scale 32-bit and ERP-Scale 64-bit. The upgrade utility will be started automatically when you install ERP-Scale V4.0.1, or can be started from the Start Menu under Programs>ERP-Scale>ERP-Scale Upgrade Utility.
ERP-Scale V4.0.1 uses the Microsoft XMLLite library. See this KB article for information regarding installing the library in Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server. Install the KB update before installing ERP-Scale. You do not need to install the XMLLite library with Windows Vista or Windows 7 or later as it is part of the operating system.

The Pocket Programs activation relay V4.0.x is not compatible with ERP-Scale V3.0.x and vice versa.
ERP-Scale uses the Bonjour library for SAP Scales Server location and status broadcasts. However, if Bonjour should not be used, it can be deselected during the installation process.
There is a dedicated version of ERP-Scale V4.0.1 available for 64 bit (x64) operating systems.
